Walking through the Loonse and Drunense Dunes

De Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park is never the same. Stroll across the sandy plains and enjoy nature and the unique flora and fauna. The animals and plants have adapted to the environment: sandy plains and dry areas. Halfway you can take a rest at Herberg De Drie Linden. The polar winds during the last ice age created many thick layers of sand in Brabant. The Loonse en Drunense Duinen is also sometimes called the Brabant Sahara, because it is a wild and dry area where you feel like you are in another world.
