TIP Eastermar, Elzensingel route

This route takes you along the most beautiful spots around Eastermar and mainly follows shell paths and dirt roads (with cycle path). You cycle through the countryside with the characteristic alder canals, characteristic of this part of Fryslân. You will also have the opportunity to take a look at two lakes; the Burgumer Mar and the Leien. The latter lake is owned by the Forestry Commission and is known for its special flora and fauna.
The entire route is 30 kilometers and takes about three hours (with blow-out breaks). You can cut off here and there along the way to make fewer miles. & Nbsp;
At various points in the route you will come across benches with beautiful views and you can also go here and there for the necessary refreshments.
