The Blue Gold along the Waal

This cycle route takes you past forts, castles, locks, pumping stations, mills and industry along the Waal. Along the way you will pass many beautiful towns and villages. A beautiful highlight during this route where you should definitely get off your bike is Doornenburg Castle. Admire the freely accessible outer bailey and have a drink on the terrace of the inn.
