City walk through Wageningen

Your walking route starts at Doppio Espresso Wageningen, with a good cup of coffee. Here you can immediately taste that typical student atmosphere that makes Wageningen so cozy, because you will start on the campus of Wageningen University. Right in the center you will discover the Grote Kerk, a late Gothic church in the middle of the terraces on the market. Walk in for the stained glass Memorial window 1940-1945. At listening point L51: Food transports you can hear that there was a huge food depot nearby in May 1945, because of the famine in the then occupied west of the country. You will also pass arboretum De Dreijen. Here you will discover beautiful vistas and encounter the most wonderful plants and trees. Then you walk back across the leafy campus of Wageningen University.
