Schouwen-Duiveland is perhaps the most beautiful island in Zeeland to explore by bike. The environment is diverse: you cycle through forests, dunes, nature reserves, with a view of the sea and past beautiful, historic places. You start the route at junction 87 near Brijdorpe. From here you cycle north towards Den Osse, where you can take a break at Even Pause. The cafeteria is located on the Grevelingenmeer, where you have a beautiful view. Definitely go for the home-cut fries made from Zeeland clay potatoes. Via Scharendijke you cycle to Renesse and Burgh-Haamstede. This is a beautiful area to cycle through. Especially when you arrive in the forest of Westenschouwen. Here you can completely relax and enjoy nature.
