From Loenen, you cycle into the Loenermark forests. A beautiful start to a route that takes you for many kilometers through the natural beauty of the Veluwe. You'll also pass the Deelen Air Base Museum. During World War II, this was the largest German airfield in the Netherlands. The route then leads straight through the Hoge Veluwe National Park. This nature reserve, largely shaped by ice and water, is the green treasure trove of the Netherlands. In the heart of the national park, you'll pass the renowned Kroller-Muller Museum. In Otterlo, it's time for a cozy terrace at Petit Restaurant Het Smulhuis. You cycle back into the forests where, after a few kilometers, you'll come across the St. Hubertus Hunting Lodge, dating from 1914. Via Hoenderloo, you'll cycle to Hotel Restaurant De Loenermark. Enjoy your meal!
