In den Bockenreyder is beautifully situated between the forests of the De Utrecht estate and close to the fens. In this inn you will be taken back to the time when the goat riders went on raids. The inn is about 90 years old and exudes the atmosphere of the past. You can sit inside by a cozy fireplace and, when the weather is nice, take a seat on the terrace to enjoy the sun. If you have a strong appetite, this inn is the right place for you. Bouncers, soup, sandwiches and all kinds of farm delicacies are on the menu here.

Sint Petruskerk

The oldest church on this site dates from 990. It was built by order of Saint Hilsondis. The remains of this tuff Romanesque basilica were found in 1965 during a restoration. The lady of (Hilvaren) brook and Rode, Hildewaris, later renovated the church. In 1157, the church was one of the first in Brabant to be elevated to a collegiate church.
