Your route starts at the Chestnut Factory. After a delicious cup of coffee, you'll set off.
You'll take a scenic route around Haaksbergen. You'll discover Haaksbergerveen, one of the most beautiful raised bog areas in the Netherlands. It's a mix of marshy raised bog, expansive heathlands, copses, and grasslands. The Buurserzand, with its size and wetlands, is unique in Europe. You'll see a diversity of heathlands with ancient juniper trees, forests, small fields, and orchid meadows. Just across the border, you'll drive past Ammeloer Venn in Germany, a nature reserve teeming with birdlife.
