Explore the cozy courtyards of Alkmaar, cycle along the old canals and discover the narrow streets. Explore the area and enjoy the magnificent view of the North Sea that the Schoorlse Duinen offers you when you have found your way through Schoorl Boswachterij. Enjoy a breath of fresh air by bike in the high dunes and in the ancient forests of Schoorl. You start at Restaurant De Bokkesprong at Hans and Stacey in Groet, a farm a stone's throw from the beach. Enjoy a nice lunch or a cup of coffee here before you get on your bike and explore the rest of the area. Along the way you will come across beautiful windmills - you don't get more Dutch - including four ironing mills that are together in Alkmaar. A beautiful sight!
