Tour of the Kop van Noord-Holland
't Zand, Den Helder, Julianadorp, Callantsoog

In the naval city of Den Helder, people live together with the water. Surrounded by the North Sea, the Marsdiep and of course the Wadden Sea, this coastal town in the Noordkop is best known for its lively fish trade and strong naval base. In the Kop van Noord-Holland you can also find the largest tulip fields in the world, in April. Callantsoog is a pleasant seaside resort where life is good.

The route starts and ends at care farm Blij on the farm. The first stop is Den Helder with a visit to Willemsoord, an industrial area with various museums and sights. Via the coast to Callantsoog, and via a raft bridge back to't Zand.

Social enterprises
This route also takes you past a number of special social enterprises. In Den Helder on Willemsoord - an old shipyard site - is the hip interior design store MindsZ, where people with a distance to the labor market work. Here you can buy the most beautiful things for your home. And in't Zand, there is also a very nice place; Care farm Blij op de Boerderij - picking, tea and vegetable garden and a creative workshop. Both well worth a visit!
