Description
Get to know West-Brabant and Zuid-Beveland during this cycling route. You cycle southwards, through the Zoomland forest. You can wander for miles on old lanes. In the 13th century this was a large swamp where peat was extracted afterwards. After you have cycled through the forests, it is time to cycle towards Zeeland. Along the coast you cycle past Krabbedijke, Oostdijk and Waarde. Here you pass the De Hoed mill. Take a break at Zeeuws Genieten, a campsite in the middle of the polder. Enjoy a drink and a snack on the terrace, weather permitting. Then you cycle towards the pleasant centre of Bergen op Zoom.
