Description
Get to know West Brabant and South Beveland during this cycling route. You start at Brasserie De Berk in Bergen op Zoom. You cycle south, through the Zoomland forest. You can wander for miles here along old avenues. In the 13th century this was a large swamp where peat was then extracted. After cycling through the woods, it is time to cycle towards Zeeland. You cycle along the coast past Krabbedijke, Oostdijk and Waarde. Here you pass the De Hoed mill. Take a break at Zeeuws Enjoy, a campsite in the middle of the polder. Enjoy a drink and a snack on the terrace, weather permitting. Then you cycle towards the pleasant center of Bergen op Zoom.
