This round has now been adjusted and now comes over/under the Bandijk where you can find the waxing moon by artist Paul de Kort. This labyrinth is a beautiful metaphor for centuries of struggle against and cooperation with the water. (Source Mezza page 11 on 9-7-22.) The electrically powered pedestrian and bicycle ferry't Leeuweveerke takes you from the end of April to the end of September to the unique nature in the Biesbosch. In the Lunchroom'Biesla\\\' you can enjoy a delicious lunch, coffee with apple pie or a snack on the terrace. A nice place to start your exploration of the Biesbosch, an impressive national park. The ferry feels like a boat trip through this special area, nice!

The Panorama is a cozy grand cafe-restaurant in Drimmelen, a picturesque Brabant harbor town on the Amer. From Drimmelen you can take the boat to National Park De Biesbosch. Prefer land under your feet? Then cycle or walk into the Drimmel hinterland, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Brabant polder. Back at Het Panorama you can enjoy a well-deserved snack on the cozy terrace in the sun. Time to catch up and chat, now that's relaxing. Especially because from the terrace you have a panoramic view of the Amer and the Biesbosch National Park.

Geertruidenberg was originally Dutch and received city rights from the County of Holland in 1213. The city came to Noord-Brabant in 1813 (under Louis Napoleon). Geertruidenberg is also called 'fortified town on the Biesbosch', because of the centuries-long relationships with the nature reserve.
