Tour of Gruise Epper and the Snepheiderbeek

First you take a tour through the Gruise Epper nature reserve, named after the road of the same name that runs here. It should actually have been called Grieze Upper: gray infertile sand, located high up. Fertilization changed the soil. The beautiful green landscape is no longer reminiscent of the barren soil of the past. A network of small paths leads you criss-cross through the area. You don't have to be afraid of getting lost - thanks to the junctions you can easily find your way here! Then you walk a long way along the Snepheiderbeek, a drainage canal. Just before the hamlet of Egchelheide you enter a beautiful street along old farms. Wide dirt roads lead you back to your starting point.
