Description
During this route you will explore the beautiful nature of the Achterhoek. Enjoy the varied scenic landscape of fields, meadows and hedgerows. You cycle zigzagging towards Beltrum and Groenlo. You follow the contours of the meandering river Groenlose Slinge. This river has not always had the same course: it used to run through the city canal of Groenlo. Later it was moved along the north of Groenlo and in the 20th century it was canalized for more efficient water drainage.
