Eersel, Brabant Remembers

Starting point is the Market of Eersel.

On and in the immediate vicinity of this route you will find the memorial windows in the chapel of Eersel, the dove of peace in the Poelijoepark, the Maria chapel where a candle can be lit.

In Bergeijk you will find the monument in memory of the war victims in the cemetery behind the Hofkerk.

Between Bergeijk and Valkenswaard you will find the Liberation Route listening post and boulder 104:"A beer for the liberation\\\", the monument of a crashed British bomber and the British military cemetery.

In the direction of Belgium you will arrive at the Liberation Route listening post and boulder 101:"In an ambush\\\".

In  Luyksgestel you can bake traditional bread rolls yourself in the Grenswachter windmill.

Via nature gate de Witrijt, the beautiful nature reserve de Cartierheide and nature gate TerSpegelt you will return to the Ydillic Eersel with its many terraces.
