From the Maastricht hilly landscape to Maasbracht, the Maas meanders over shallow gravel banks, fast-flowing and virtually unnavigable. During this route you cycle the South Limburg section of the Maas cycle route from Maastricht to Echt. The route will surprise you and is more than worth it. The route can be followed in the Netherlands using the special Maas route signs.
The International Meuse Cycle Route, which is much longer, is a great challenge for the more or less experienced cyclist. From the Langres plateau to Hoek van Holland, you can discover the Meuse like you have never seen before. More information about sights, places to stay and culinary stops on this international route can be found at: www.maasfietsroute.eu.

De Witte Brush is beautifully situated in the farthest corner of Meers, right on the border with Belgium. It is a relatively unknown part of Limburg, but nevertheless beautiful in terms of environment. Enjoy a refreshing drink or a tasty snack on the terrace. From here you can make beautiful bike rides to Brunssum, Maastricht or even into Belgium, to the Hoge Kempen National Park. Hikers have a perfect starting point here for the discovery of the nice Stein and the Maas.
