A tour of the Hoge Veluwe National Park

This cycle route starts from the holiday park and runs all the way through the green treasury of the Netherlands. The nature reserve is characterized by unexpected desert-like sand plains, pine forests and stretches of vast moorland. Everywhere you see traces of wildlife. Roe deer and red deer, but also foxes, hares and other smaller animals leave their marks on this cycle route. After having cycled about forty kilometers across the Veluwe, you arrive back in Otterlo. Time for a well-deserved break. Make a stop at Restaurant Zuiderzand. Here they serve homemade cakes, a daily fresh lunch, fresh coffee and delicious wine. And a nice extra?
