A tour of the country estates at De Bilt

On the Utrechtse Heuvelrug you can marvel at the many stately country houses that were built here by the Dutch rich at the end of the eighteenth century. On the Beerschoten estate you walk through an English landscape park with a flowing stream, meadows and old avenues. Then you cross one of the oldest streets in the country back in De Bilt, the Dorpsstraat, to the Dorpskerk. The reformed church dates from 1652.
