Description
Today you will discover the Loonse & Drunense Duinen National Park, an oasis of peace between a number of large Brabant cities. The vast area is also sometimes called the Brabant Sahara: nowhere else in Europe are there such large-scale living drifting sands. Yet this national park consists of more than just sand. You will walk through dense deciduous and coniferous forests and heathlands that turn a beautiful purple in August. Take the time to enjoy the view over the sea of sand in the sun!
