Walking along the Geleenbeek

The route starts at Brasserie Abshoven on the edge of Mustergeleen. The brasserie is located in an old church, a remnant of a monastery complex that stood empty for years. Enjoy a cup of coffee, a beer or a tasty snack here. A piece of pie should of course not be missing in Limburg. That will taste good after a lovely walk along the Geleenbeek! This area is beautiful to walk through. You will find pools and hedges along the Geleenbeek. Search for kingfishers and see how the jagged curves and natural banks are formed. After you have walked a few kilometers through this beautiful nature reserve, you end the walk again at Brasserie Abshoven in Mustergeleen. Good to know: you can park for free in front of the door.
