Walking through the Walsberg forests

This walk starts at Restaurant Het Dinghuis in Deurne, a cozy restaurant with a homely atmosphere in the center. The ideal place to relax after your walk with a nice drink and a snack. You leave Deurne and walk towards the Walsbergse Bossen, a wonderfully quiet area to walk in. At the edges of this forest there are mainly oaks, birches and rowan trees. There is still a remnant of sand drifts. The forest is known as a habitat for the smallest bird species in our country: the goldcrest. This bird species mainly lives in the tops of coniferous trees. Via the outskirts of Deurne you walk back to Restaurant Het Dinghuis, where you can relax from the walk.
