Walking through the woods near Gorp

The first few kilometres the forest path runs along the Rovertse Leij, a stream that still meanders naturally. The landscape here is of unparalleled beauty. Along the banks you will find, among other things, thorns of the valley and wood anemone, and with a bit of luck you will spot a kingfisher here. In the hamlet of Gorp you will see a number of beautiful old farms. You will also pass the nineteenth-century hunting lodge that the then lord of the manor had built here. You continue along straight lanes through this refreshingly quiet forest. A nature reserve to explore more often!
