Walking through the woods near Gorp

After a comfortable night's sleep at Uitspanning & Camping Breehees, you are probably looking forward to a beautiful walking route. That's a good thing, because just to the south you can enjoy a lovely walk through the woods of Landgoed Gorp. For the first kilometers, the forest path runs along the Rovertse Leij, a stream that still meanders naturally. The landscape here is of unprecedented beauty. Along the banks you will find valley herb and wood anemone, and with a bit of luck you will spot a kingfisher here. In the hamlet of Gorp you will see a number of beautiful old farms. You will also pass the nineteenth-century hunting lodge that the then landlord built here. You continue along straight avenues through this refreshingly quiet forest. A nature reserve to explore more often! But first it's time for a terrace!
