Description
A wonderful round of cycling on the Zeeland Tholen peninsula. This cycling route starts at Hotel Tholen. This city owes its name because around the fourteenth century tolls were levied on the Scheldt Canal and the Striene. At Nieuw-Vossemeer you cross the water again. Once back at Tholen you cycle past windmills and through meadows to Sint Annaland. From here you go south until you reach the Oosterschelde. On the other side of the estuary you look out over Zuid-Beverland. After about ten kilometers you reach Hotel Tholen and you can have something to eat at restaurant JuNa.
