Description

From Lunteren train station you will be in the beautiful forests for which the Veluwe is known in no time. Take the train and then hit the road. On the first part of the route you walk from Lunteren through the lush forests. You walk through the Luntersche Buurtbosch. This forest was created around 1890 thanks to the estate of notary Van den Ham. After more than 7 kilometers of walking you can take a look at the historic Celtic Fields. These small-scale fields were used in prehistoric times to grow crops. A little further on you can climb the Goudsberg, the geographical center of the Netherlands, or the De Hessenhut lookout tower for a beautiful view. You will eventually end up in Lunteren at the train station.
