Schaffelaar estate: from Barneveld North to Lunteren

Stage 3 of the multi-day walk along the Valleilijn train route takes you from Barneveld Noord to Lunteren. The starting point of this tour is Barneveld Noord train station. From here you walk through the small-scale forest of Landgoed Schaffelaar. Enjoy the greenery here and take a look at the beautiful historic Huis Schaffelaar before you walk back into Barneveld. In the village you can then make a stop at the Dutch Museum for Poultry Farming. Here you will find all possible information about the chicken, the egg and all other things that have to do with poultry farming. Take a look here or walk directly to the countryside north of Barneveld. You walk through this quiet and green area to Lunteren train station.
