From Schiedam to Delft and Maassluis
The starting point of this cycling route is the parking lot in the center of Schiedam. Via the outskirts of Schiedam you cycle in the direction of Delft and cross the village of Schipluiden. You cycle along the water for quite some time and a little later you pass the lake De Kromme Zweth and Het Kraaiennest. Via Maasland you cycle south towards Vlaardingen, the city known as the herring city of the Netherlands.
Abtswoudse Bos
This cycling route is nice and varied: you start in the center of Schiedam and on the way you cycle through the outskirts of the cities. After a while you cycle through the Abtswoudse Bos, a polder area with trees, shrubs, ditches, puddles and small ponds. Here you can enjoy cycling! In the center of the forest is the art project'Mother Earth\\\', a hill in the shape of a female body. At the highest point you have a beautiful view over the forest, the polder and the cities that are nearby.
