Tour of Schiedam, Delft and Vlaardingen

Your route starts at Grand Café't Hoofd in Maassluis. Via Maasland you cycle to the beautiful old village of Schipluiden. You cycle along the water for quite some time and a little later you pass the Kromme Zweth lake and Het Kraaiennest. You will also pass through the Abtswoudse Bos, a polder area with trees, shrubs, ditches, puddles and small ponds. You can enjoy cycling here! Centrally located in the forest is the art project 'Mother Earth', a hill in the shape of a woman's body. At the highest point you have a beautiful view over the forest, the polder and the nearby cities. You cycle back via the outskirts of Schiedam. Take a look at Vlaardingen, the city known as the herring city of the Netherlands.
