Look at Sint-Truiden and Haspengouw

Sint-Truiden is a beautiful city full of cultural history. In the rolling countryside you drive through the characteristic natural beauty of Haspengouw. Along the way you will pass several viewpoints that offer you a unique panorama.

Belfry
The route starts at Tourism Sint-Truiden. You can go here for more information about the city and region. It is better to cover the first meters of your route on foot, there is so much beauty to see in the historic heart of Sint-Truiden. You will pass, among other things, the Belfry, the lower part of which still dates from the thirteenth century. The Church of Our Lady also dates from the Middle Ages. From the Abbey Tower you have a beautiful panorama of the city.

Honsberg
In the countryside you drive on car-free roads through some quiet, beautiful villages where you can admire old farms and churches. In the rolling Haspengouw countryside you look out over fields, fields, streams and orchards. You will pass a number of special viewpoints, such as the Panorama Basin and the Honsberg. Back in Sint-Truiden you pass through Domain't Speelhof, a beautiful city park with castle. Then it is time for a delicious meal on one of the many terraces.
