The churches of Oudebildtzijl and Sint-Annaparochie

It is wonderful to cycle through the polder in the northwest of Friesland. You will discover beautiful churches in Oudebildtzijl and Sint-Annaparochie. The starting point of your route is Hotel Logement de Witte Klok, this hotel is located in the municipality of Het Bildt, in the picturesque village of Oudebildtzijl. It has been around since 1664, so be sure to have a cup of coffee here! In the village you still experience the atmosphere of earlier times. Here you can admire the striking Juliana Church from 1806. In the countryside you can enjoy a breath of fresh air in the polders. Then you cycle to the Zeedijk. It is wonderful to cycle here in the shelter of the dike, while you look out over the meadows and many ditches. Climb up the dike to look out over the Wadden Sea. In clear weather you can see Ameland.
