This cycle route combines the rural character of the'Barmharme Stede\\\' with the bustling heart of the city center of Geel. The tranquility in combination with the green surroundings makes for a relaxing bike ride past a number of nice sights.

Cozy Yellow
The pleasant center of Geel is the starting point of this route. You can get a taste of culture in the Gasthuis Museum and the St. Dimpna Church, where Saint Dimpna, patron saint of the mentally ill, is still prominent. Strolling through the cozy streets of the city is also highly recommended.

Natural beauty in the Prinsenpark
Then you cycle towards the Provincial Domain Prinsenpark. This park covers no less than 215 hectares and you will find all the peace and space you could wish for. Enjoy forests, meadows and water features and relax while cycling. The small heathlands are reminiscent of the time when farmers grazed their sheep here. You will also cycle along the Herentals-Bocholt canal, a mysterious burial mound, horse meadows and charming village centers such as Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Olen.
