Enjoy a nice day out around Voorthuizen

Your cycling route starts at Ackersate Holiday Park. Between Amersfoort and the vast forests of the Veluwe you will find a beautiful area for a bike ride. This route takes you through various pleasant places, past meadows and fields and through small-scale forests in the Amersfoort area. The first part of this route runs to the edge of Amersfoort. Along the way you can take a look at Molen Den Olden Florus. It is unknown when exactly this mill was built, but the mill was already there in 1403. The mill was restored at the end of the 20th century. Then you cycle along the edge of Amersfoort to Hoevelaken and Nijkerk. If you have the time, visit the historic center of Amersfoort!
