Description
Beautiful towns and quiet nature reserves on the border with Germany: there is a lot to discover with this route! You start at Koffie en Theeschenkerij Hof't Sprakel. You soon drive through Haaksbergen, a pleasant town. Further on you cycle through the Haaksbergerveen and the adjacent German nature reserve the Ammeloer Venn. Along the border it is wonderful to travel for miles through the Twente scenic landscape. In between you can get off at Hotel Restaurant Kloppendiek for something tasty. Further away is the nice town of Eibergen. Here you have plenty of choice for a pit stop, because the route passes Hof van Eckberge, Grand Café De Klok Patisserie, Hotel De Kastanjefabriek and Restaurant Het Muldershuis. As you cycle north again, you will pass through the forests of Lankheet Estate. What a special environment!
