The upper part of North Holland consists of typical Dutch polder landscapes, the coast, dunes and flower fields. A beautiful area to cycle through. This route takes you through the quiet area around Schagen. You start the route at Museum Historisch Harenkarspel in Tuitjenhorn. The museum's collection consists of tools that were formerly used in agriculture and livestock. You can also view craft and household objects. Every season there is also a temporary exhibition. After you have been to the museum, you get on your bike to Haringhuizen and Schagen. Get off in Schagen and walk past the Grote Kerk on the Markt, the 15th century castle towers of the former castle. You cycle back to Tuitjenhorn via the polders.
