With this cycle route you make a loop through the area around Someren. First you drive to Someren-Eind, a mining village that originated in the mid-nineteenth century. In the countryside you drive on car-free roads between fields and grasslands. You will also pass the White Mountains: a small-scale production forest where fragrant conifers grow. The second loop takes you through one of Brabant's natural gems: the Strabrechtse Heide. An extensive nature reserve with forests and natural heathland. With a bit of luck you will come across the herd of sheep that graze this area, it gives you the idea of taking a leap back in time. On the outskirts of Someren you pass the Museum for Flight Simulation.
