Description
Walcheren has a beautiful coastline full of natural beauty. Get on the saddle and discover how beautiful cycling is here. You also drive through Domburg, Veere, Middelburg and Vlissingen.
Westkapelse Creek
From the heart of Vlissingen you quickly drive through the Nollebos, a nature reserve that was created in the 1930s on the site of the former Fort De Nolle. You then drive many kilometers through a series of small plots of deciduous forest, meadows and villages such as Dishoek and the pleasant Zoutelande. You will pass the Westkapelse Kreek, which was created after the Noordzeedijk was destroyed in a bombing during the Second World War.
Middelburg
From the dike you have a beautiful view of the sea for a while, after which you cycle through the beautiful seaside resort of Domburg. Around Westhove Castle you drive through a beautiful estate park, and you can also enjoy the adjacent De Manteling nature reserve. At Frieterie De Bostent you are welcome for a refreshing break, after which you drive via picturesque Veere to another beautiful old city: Middelburg. So much beauty, all in one day!
