In Nijmegen you cycle along the iconic Waalkade. You will find plenty of variety around the city: from the water-rich lowlands in the Gelderse Poort to the wooded slopes at Berg en Dal.

From MOoij Bed and Breakfast you drive in the direction of Nijmegen. In the distance you can already see the Waalbrug. On the Waalkade you have beautiful views over the Waal and the countryside. On the left you see the Besiendershuis from 1525. This'besiender\\\' had to collect tolls from passing ships. Just past Beuningen you pass the Van't Lindenhout Museum, which is located in an old church. Here you will learn more about the history of the Orphanage and Kinderdorp Neerbosch.

Further on you drive through beautiful Nijmegen again. Just outside the city you will cycle through the woods and drive through Berg en Dal, a village rich in old villas. You descend again to the Ooijpolder, here you can view the Church of Persingen: a beautiful building that dates back to the Middle Ages. You will cycle along the rugged landscape of the Oude Waal to Tiengeboden, further on you will pass through the Greenlands nature reserve.
