Cycling through the Betuwe near Geldermalsen

Around Geldermalsen you can make a beautiful bike ride through the Betuwe. You will find plenty of peace, space and villages with sights.

Mariënwaerdt Estate
First you drive to the picturesque village of Enspijk. You cross the Linge, after which you drive through Landgoed Mariënwaerdt. On this private estate of over 900 hectares there are no less than 40 national monuments, such as 14 farmsteads, haystacks and flood barns. A beautiful environment where natural beauty and the rich cultural history of Gelderland are combined.

Betuwe
From Beusichem you cycle through the floodplains along the Lek, at junction 39 you can view the Prinses Marijkesluizen. In the Betuwe you cycle on car-free roads along meadows and orchards. How wonderfully peaceful it is to cycle here! Around Kasteel Zoelen you experience the atmosphere of times gone by, just like in the picturesque village of Erichem which you cycle through a little later. Finally you cycle through the pleasant Geldermalsen.
