Belgische Erebegraafplaats
The Belgian war cemetery in Willemstad houses the graves of 159 Belgian soldiers and reminds the residents of Willemstad of the Belgian soldiers who died during the Second World War when their ship ran into a mine near Willemstad. The cemetery was consecrated on April 14, 1950 and officially opened on May 29, 1950. In 1963, two memorial stones were added to the monument.
