Special notes on the route From Passau we recommend the southern bank of the Danube. Change to the northern bank of the Danube at the Jochenstein power station. Change banks again at the Schlögener Schlinge with the ferry. From Aschach to Ottensheim it is possible to cycle on both banks again. Organizational Depending on the arrangement, you will receive vouchers for any included services (ferry rides, wine tastings, entrance fees, guided tours, ...) at the tour information. In Engelhartszell you cross over to the northern shore by ferry; the ticket is available directly on the ferry, costs approx. € 3.00/person incl. bike. In Schlögen you take the ferry to the southern shore; the ticket is available directly on the ferry, costs approx. € 3.00/person incl. bike.
