The route is largely on paved roads of the walking network. Once out of the village it goes to the outskirts of Kessel where it also goes along the Boekender forest for a while. Then a bit of the outskirts of Baarlo. The last part goes along the mesh. At the parking lot at the market you have a beautiful view of the castle and the church of Kessel.
